OUR Body Size "FAT" a strong link to getting CANCER!!!


The latest evidence links our FAT body size (lousy junk food diet) and lack of exercise and lack of fresh fruits and vegetables and fiber in whole grains the biggest link along side smoking and regular alcohol consumption as the causes of our cancer and many other preventable diseases like heart disease , diabetes and hypertension. So which one of these conditions are you working on getting from your bad habits? This information is nothing new but rarely published or discussed by our medical professionals for the last 50 years. WHY is that so? How come we've heard it more on TV than from our own physician who should be concerned with how a medical crisis is prevented? Don't you ever wonder WHY sweet Aunt Mable or Uncle Joe died such a cruel death from cancer? They were such "good" folks or they were so "young!"
There are answers and we must walk through a new door of understanding to have hearing ears and eyes that see what we have been blinded from seeing..... Our new journey can SAVE OUR LIVES!!!!
“Cancer is preventable. There are changes you can make in your daily life that will reduce your chances of developing cancer,” James said.
He pointed out that, taken together, the recommendations outline a clear and consistent way of living that fosters a longer healthy life.
“Let’s get more vegetables, fruits and other low-energy-density foods every day, which will leave less room for meat. Let’s get off our backsides however and whenever we can.”
Accomplish these changes to diet and activity level and you are on your way to getting and staying as lean as possible, which is our first recommendation, he said.
“This is a pattern for living with the potential to save millions of lives. If these recommendations were adopted around the world, scientists estimate it could prevent about one-third of global cancer cases,” James said.
Recommendations for Cancer Prevention
1. Be as lean as possible within the normal range of body weight.
2. Be physically active as part of everyday life.
3. Limit consumption of energy-dense foods. Avoid sugary drinks.
4. Eat mostly foods of plant origin.
5. Limit intake of red meat and avoid processed meat.
6. Limit alcoholic drinks.
7. Limit consumption of salt. Avoid moldy cereals (grains) or pulses (legumes).
8. Aim to meet nutritional needs through diet alone.
Special Population Recommendations
9. Mothers to breastfeed; children to be breastfed.
10. Cancer survivors to follow the recommendations for cancer prevention.
And always remember – do not smoke or chew tobacco.

Breast Cancer Awareness?


Prevention IS THE CURE for Breast Cancer! The headlines should read what studies are concluding! Breast Cancer is not from bad luck, bad genes but rather from our bad habits, lifestyle and typical modern fast food, high fat diet! Perhaps also from compromised TAP water but when are we going to listen??? Perhaps from years of too much estrogen supplements via birth control or prempro etc etc!!!!



The National Cancer Institute has warned us that 80% of ALL cancers are PREVENTABLE!!!!! How come we can't hear that from our own healthcare professional when it's us one on one???? What we get instead from that office and the media is the aura of mystery that keeps billions of dollars flowing annually on the careers devoted to the details surrounding the "care" of the problem!My favorite charity working toward getting the truth out is the American Institute of Cancer Research. We in this society will probably never see a "cure" from a magic pill. The cure is prevention and reversing the risk that our family history may embark.

America's indulgence in supersizing soda's linked to UH OH! TROUBLE!


No big surprise here, it is not rocket science that after 10-20 years of a bad habit we find ourselves collectively at risk for a heart attack and or a new diabetes diagnosis or poisoning our liver! That's right, our daily soda's are clogging our arteries, elevating our triglyceride and liver levels or pushing our pancreas to over-work itself and we find our selves in pre-diabetes or DIABETES or OBESE in no time!! You'll do better to switch to water and save yourself now! Or for a special drink mix 1/2 juice with 1/2 sparkling water with a lime squeeze! Or try 1/3 juice or lemonade to 2/3 ice tea which is called an "Arnold Palmer" at the bar! Healthcare takes big bite out of U.S. Economy!

Who says healthcare isn't BIG BUSINESS? Currently 16 cents per every dollar is paid to healthcare in America! In 2006 that would round out to $2.1 TRILLION dollars!! This figure is expected to nearly double in the next 10 years estimators say. So go figure, our self-induced, lifestyle related metabolic conditions such as diabetes, cancer, heart disease, high blood pressure and other obesity related conditions that are largely PREVENTABLE, really pay the establishment hefty sums to manage our illness. Hmm.... where is the motivation for prevention? Meaning preventing the disease completely before it begins? Never having to take the treatment in the first place should be our goal. So, we must place our health demise at bay on our own. Health, nutrition and physical activity is within our own control. Lets keep the bucks in our own pocket! (Hey, why not reward our low risk factors and normal BMI to minimal healthcare premiums? Nahhh.... where's the profit in that?) Trust this: they have realized they will profit handsomely at your good health too! That is because they make their money on the 80% who are healthy to pay for the 20% with the chronic disease that is 75% of the costs of healthcare!! Also in the great USA pharmacueticals are making 450 billion $$$ a year on our chronic illness! You figure out who's keeping who in the dark and why!

Stop SUGAR, tobacco and alcohol addictions! Mostly prevention begins in our own grocery basket or plainly what goes in our mouth!! Read on...save yourself now!

Prepare yourself to be encouraged by your healthcare professional to now put your "health success ball" into YOUR court! That's right, and rightfully so, it has always been our "fault" mostly by what we've been putting in our mouths for too many years of bad habits that in time go awry! So, now, because of the obesity epidemic in America (64% are overweight or obese and 64% do NOT get sufficient exercise) which results in all the fancy diagnosis' that are preventable. The government based institutions are mandating the healthcare providers make an emphasis on the patient taking a more proactive role in disease prevention and or control. Guess what else? After all these years that medical science has not believed that diet had any part of your becoming "slot in YOUR diagnosis" they have changed their tune and without admitting error they are motivated by "perks and bonuses" to tell you the truth so that you can SAVE YOURSELF!!! Just 5 -10 years ago this idea was ridiculous. They operated on the assumption that whatever you had been doing was fine and to continue to eat a "normal" diet. What's normal? Fast food, soda's, donuts, hamburger's, french fries and hot dogs for most kids today!! What? We need 5-9 veggies and fruits per day? Impossible is what you would have thought! Now, we must be educated that it is going to be all trouble if we DON'T!
